Visualization
I created a visualization to analyze a financial dataset. The dataset contained information on customer purchases, including the products purchased, the dates of the purchases, and the locations of the stores. I was able to create a series of stacked bar charts that showed the breakdown of sales by product category and by store location. I also added a timeline element to the visualization, which allowed me to see how sales varied over the course of the year. This information was valuable for my client in developing targeted marketing campaigns and tailoring their product mix to better meet the needs of their customers.
Machine Learning
I developed a machine learning model to help identify the optimal location for a new Subway restaurant. The model was trained on a dataset containing various socioeconomic and demographic factors, as well as information on the locations of existing Subway restaurants. Using this data, the model was able to predict optimal and suboptimal zip codes to open a Subway restaurant.
Security Guard Tracking System
I developed a security guard tracking system to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of my client’s security team. The system consisted of QR codes that my client could use to track guards’ location while on duty. This information was then automatically logged in a database and our software would then create a report that shows locations, date, time of check in. Overall, the security guard tracking system has proven to be a valuable tool for my client, as it has helped to tracking and accountability within the security team.
Bidding Spreadsheet
I created a spreadsheet template to be used for bidding purposes. The template was designed to streamline the process of preparing bids for potential clients. It contained a series of input cells where users could enter information such as the cost of materials, labor, and overhead, as well as any applicable discounts or markups. The spreadsheet then used these inputs to automatically calculate the total cost of the project and generate a bid price. This saved my clients a significant amount of time and effort, as they no longer had to manually perform these calculations for each bid.
